How To Open a Restaurant

Opening a restaurant can be very difficult if you don't understand the process. Not understanding the process actually occurs quite often, in fact I am still shocked at how many customers walk through our doors thinking they can just sign a lease buy some equipment and be ready to start selling food. That is not how it works. Each city/county will have different requirements. In some cases even the landlord may have some requirements that must be met before you are able to open the doors of your restaurant. A few of the most basic requirements can be found here on the LA County Public Health website.
